I have a Jahaziel Tate who was born Mar 1814 in Warren Co. Jahaziel married Sarah Tate who was the daughter of Aaron Tate and Elizabeth Connolly. Jahaziel & Sarah had three children, one of whom was my mother’s paternal grandfather, Martin VanBuren Tate. I don’t have much info on Sarah other than she had the three children and she died Jan 28, 1852. We know more of this family after they came to Texas. I show that they lived in Pulaski Co., Ark. when M. VB Tate was born.
I think Sarah and Susannah would have been sisters. Do you have more?

[402] Served in Co. A, 39th Ga. Infantry Regiment during Civil War under Brig. Gen. Cummings, changed to Stevens. Says he was a POW in Georgia at Appomattox. (Application for pension, Wood Co., TX, 1921). Letter, Adjutant General’s office to the Hon. Thos. Blanton, Rep. for TX 17th Dist., 19 Apr 1921 says that WAW was present with his co. 30 Apr 1864, and Union POW records show he was captured at Vicksburg 4 Jul 1863 and paroled 8 Jul 1863.
