Job hunting

Called two or three headhunters; no joy.  As I suspected, I was passed over for the DHS position, which doesn’t surprise me.  I was fairly sure I blew the written exam, because as soon as I hit the question “name the new features of Windows 2000,” I went blank.  After that I sent out some more resumés to listings I saw on Flipdog.  This afternoon or evening I need to get on to completing applications for State of Texas and Travis County jobs, so I can have them ready to fire off if I do see anything that might do.  The county’s got a couple of positions open that are possible.
