Chilly, rainy, and dreary

The forecast is for rain and thunderstorms (one’s going on overhead now), and a high just above fifty.  Which means that it’s a fine day to be staying INdoors, and not slopping around in the wet trying to do yardwork.  I’ll stay in and pester headhunters, now that M’s gone down for her morning nap, and then try to write some more eBay copy.  Having gotten the lab balance onto the block, I could use to put some other stock up and get it out of the warehouse (which is actually a couple of shelves in a disused bathroom).

Things to do:

  1. Follow up with the headhunters who submitted me as a contractor on various State jobs.
  2. Write copy for some more eBay items, so I can list them out.
  3. Get out the circular saw and claw hammer and chop up the ruined cabinetry for disposal.
  4. Get out the chain saw again and chop up some more of the big hackberry in the front yard.
  5. Hang the window screen that’s been on sawhorses in the back yard for a year and a half.
  6. Sink the posts for the compost pen.

Conditions at 10:30:

Temp 47° F., humidity 82%, wind NNE at 1 mph, barometer 30.10”↓, sky overcast with heavy thunderstorms and rain, visibility 2 miles.
