Toenails only for tonight; Thursday night after Poly Austin dinner I’ll do my fingernails, before I head for ACF on Friday, to help Moon with the homes tour. There’s no point in doing them before then; I’d only chip them hopelessly and have to re-do on Thursday anyway.
It is absolutely groovy that Moon’s going to help us re-do the drywall in the back rooms! I’m delighted to be able to save the labor costs, naturally, but I’m even more delighted that Moon is coming to visit. I’m certain that L and T will take to her right away.
Over the weekend Moon and I talked for a long time about her relationship with W, how she needs to end it and knows she needs to end it, but simply isn’t ready or able to handle that much pain right now. I hope she can find the strength to do it soon, for more reasons than one: first, she knows W isn’t what she needs in an OSO, and knows that neither Big D nor I really approve of her relationship with W, but matters aren’t yet at a stage that she can make a lasting break with him. And second, I feel a great fondness for her that might one day turn into love, but she’s just not ready to try going there now, so I’m not about to try pushing her. That would ruin all, as it nearly did with A years ago. Besides, she doesn’t need me complicating matters while she’s got as much as she can deal with in W.
