The estimated harvest

Estimated total pecan harvest:  170 lb.

Mahan:  ≅ 52 lb., approx. 50 nuts/lb.
Burkett:  ≅ 68 lb., approx. 65 nuts/lb.
San Saba:  ≅ 24 lb., approx. 125 nuts/lb.
Unidentified variety:  ≅ 26 lb., approx. 90 nuts/lb.

Which means that in the last six weeks, I’ve picked up somewhere in the neighborhood of twelve thousand pecans in my yard, as well as raking up thirty or forty thirty-gallon bags worth of leaves in the process.  No wonder I’m tired and sore!
