We didn’t get the car back this week

We were supposed to.  Our mechanic intended for us to.  However, when he got it back from the machine shop Thursday and took it out for a test drive, there was still a strange noise coming from the engine.  He started looking for it, and found that when #4 came apart, a piece of metal had gotten sucked into the intake valve, where it lodged and stayed until everything was buttoned back up, at which point it came loose again and fell back into the cylinder, doing more damage.  So now the car’s back at the machine shop to fix that damage, and he hopes to have it for us by end-of-day Monday.
