And tonight’s selection from our kitchen is . . .

Mel’s Hot-N-Sour, Cure-Anything Soup, originally from the kitchen of Melanie.  I had to substitute fresh wood ears for the dried, I couldn’t find any bamboo shoots in the pantry so I used baby corn instead, and I added some extra sake vinegar (I think I must have started with a stronger chicken stock).

But she’s right, it should cure anything.  I feel better after a bowl of it, and I wasn’t even sick in the first place!

About Marchbanks

I'm an elderly tech analyst, living in Texas but not of it, a cantankerous and venerable curmudgeon. I'm yer SOB grandpa who has NO time for snot-nosed, bad-mannered twerps.
