- A TEAC Tascam portable 4-track mini-mixing board with headphones. $25.
- An Epson Stylus 740 inkjet printer, never used, complete with all manuals, drivers, software, two extra ink cartridges, DIN and Centronics cables. $15.
- A 1930-ish GE waffle iron; Art-Deco styled to beat the band. The chrome is near spotless, the cord’s in absolutely beautiful shape, and looks like all the wiring is good too. $12.
- A cranberry glass nut dish and set of eight small dishes to match. One dish has a half-inch rim chip and all of them show fleabites on the rim; I’m guessing this must have been the former owner’s good luncheon set; that would explain finding an intact set showing only light wear. I’m going to be sitting down with the several volumes of Waterman’s “Colored Glassware of the Depression Era” this afternoon, to try to identify the pattern and manufacturer. $40.
(ETA: the nut dish turned out to be Hocking Old Cafe pattern in Royal Ruby glass, and I’m still trying to identify the other dishes. I figure they’re gonna turn out to be some kind of Hocking Royal Ruby too—I just need to figure out the pattern name. Waterman has been no help with that.)
I need to quit wasting my time in Hyde Park and North University, and cruise Tarrytown and Enfield neighborhoods more often.
Evil Stevie played a beer bottle to betray Timothy Leary to the Girl Scouts. Fnord.
