I dropped by the camera shop yesterday and got two rolls of 120 film, one B/W and one color, to experiment with in the Brownie cameras. Fortunately, two of them, the Reflex and the Hawkeye, each have enough clearance that I only had to trim off the edges of the plastic spools to make them fit. The Bullseye has a tighter film cabinet and is gonna take more than that—probably I’ll have to rewind the film from a 120 spool onto a 620.
After I got the other two cameras loaded, I took them out and walked around a few blocks near the house, taking snapshots of this and that. The line of thunderstorms that came through in the afternoon created some really nice mammatus formations, so I just pointed the camera with B&W film straight up and snapped. The sun’s out this morning, and I have to go get a near-flat fixed anyhow, so I think I’ll take the cameras with me again and see if I can’t use up the rest of the film.
