A very equivocal Christmas

I’ll have a go at a proper wrap-up post later, when I have matters better arranged.  However, dinner was largely good—only the yeast rolls failed (I’ve never developed a feel for making raised dinner rolls), but the stuffed leg of lamb, sweet-and-sour red kraut, Egyptian lentils and rice, and trifle all came out very well.  I’d never made any of these dishes before, so getting four of five to come out right means I got eighty percent, which seems like a passing grade to me.

Maybe I need to go be sure the trifle isn’t getting lonely in the fridge.

About Marchbanks

I'm an elderly tech analyst, living in Texas but not of it, a cantankerous and venerable curmudgeon. I'm yer SOB grandpa who has NO time for snot-nosed, bad-mannered twerps.
