My Ghods, this is tedious

I’m doing a major update of my Genealogy pages, and I’m getting worn down by the editing.  I used a code generator to create the basic pages, and it did a lot of the ugly grunt work (after five or six rounds of generation across several days, as I tweaked the formatting file), but the grunt work generated 791 several pages of HTML, which I must now go through, doing the fiddly bits (adding tags, META headers, and credit footers) to each one that guarantee all the pages are valid, spec-conforming HTML.  At the rate I’m going (135 pages finished), I doubt I’ll have the revised pages up before New Year’s.

About Marchbanks

I'm an elderly tech analyst, living in Texas but not of it, a cantankerous and venerable curmudgeon. I'm yer SOB grandpa who has NO time for snot-nosed, bad-mannered twerps.
