Dinner experiment

T ordered a pizza last night, and as usual the pizza place delivered it with several packets of crushed red-pepper flakes, which she didn’t use because she’s a tender-mouth.

So I found them and decided to try sprinkling some over the plate of spring-green salad mix I had with dinner.  With the pepper flakes and Ranch dressing, it turned out pretty good.  I think I’ll have to try this again with different dressings; I may need to stick with creamy dressings for this, because I think the dairy content of the dressing cushions the pepper burn a little bit.
