Yecch.  0-for-2 on the beer tonight.

This afternoon I picked up a six-pack of St. Arnold Octoberfest and another of Lagunitas IPA—and I don’t like either one of them!  The Lagunitas has got to be the hoppiest beer I’ve ever had, so hoppy that even I, who like really hoppy beers, think it’s de trop.  And the St. Arnold has a quite sweet finish, almost like a brown ale or a Scotch ale, neither of which I care for for just that reason.

I’ll finish them, because I’m not about to throw out fifteen dollars’ worth of beer, but after that they’re going on my list of “don’t buy this again.”
