I are a writer

Last fall I did a couple of short fiction re-writing projects for a proposed textbook series Holt, Rinehart and Winston is contemplating.  I’ve been waiting around ever since, to see if they were going to make a real project out of it, and whether I might get some more assignments.  Thursday I got a call from a friend who’s an editor at HRW, and who recruited me in the first place.  She told me she’d shown my stories to the projects editor-in-chief, who liked them and wants to discuss giving me more work!
