Apply, apply, apply

Which is what I’m doing.  Stuck in two applications for jobs with state agencies; one of the requisitions sounds as though it could have been written around me, asking for experience with Attachmate Extra! (a not-so-popular terminal emulation application that I’ve supported), Novell and NT networking clients (done both), Office 2000 (I know 97, which isn’t that different), MS Outlook (done that), creating building wiring maps (did that), hardware and software troubleshooting (done that), on-site end-user support (done that).  I’m gonna call the hiring manager tomorrow or Monday and follow up on this.  On top of everything else, the job’s located dead downtown, which would be transcendently wonderful after three years of working in exile at various places around town.
