The Ancestral Photo Album

In recent months, I’ve been working to collect and scan photos belonging to our family before one of two Bad Outcomes happens:  1) the photos fade or crumble through neglect, or 2) nobody is alive who remembers who all these people are.  Either one kills the value of a photograph as surely as a stake through a vampire’s heart.  In this project, I’ve received help from my mother, and from several cousins I’ve never met in person, but who have shared their own work with me.
